What a Salesforce flow actually does on a Monday
A flow is not a diagram. It is the moment a record is missing something and a person still has to move.

On a Monday morning someone opens a lead that has a name and no next step. A diagram of the sales process does not help them. A flow does, if it asks for the missing piece and refuses to pretend the record is ready.
Start from the stuck record
Write down the record as it actually arrives. Which fields are often blank? Who is allowed to move it? What should happen if a reviewer says no? Those three answers are the flow. Everything else is decoration.
Rejection is part of the design
A path that only moves forward teaches the happy day. The useful build stores the no. The next person can see why the record came back, without a chat message that disappears.
- Name the job the record is in the middle of
- Make the blank field a stop, with a sentence that explains it
- Show the next action, not the whole org
That is the Salesforce work we teach and the work we deliver. If you want to practice it, the practitioner track is open.
