Salesforce training and delivery start from the record: who owns it, what is missing, and which click should happen next.
Most people meet Salesforce as a wall of tabs. We start smaller. A lead comes in, a required field is blank, and someone has to decide what happens before the record moves.
That decision is the lesson. You build the object, the rule, the flow, and a screen another person can use without you sitting beside them. When the track is for a client, the same standard applies: the org should match how the team sells, not how a textbook draws a cloud.
What “practical” means here
- A record that fails for a real reason, and a message that says why
- An approval that can be rejected, not only approved
- A short explanation of the build that a teammate can repeat
In practice
- Objects, validation, and a path a team will actually follow
- Flows that stop when a field is empty
- Screens in LWC for the next action
- Apex where the click-path runs out
